1919
Our Origins
Our story began in Leuven, Belgium, when Anton Pissens founded a paper mill that would lay the foundation for generations to come. In 1927, the Meurrens family joined the venture, and the name PACAPIME was born — a blend of tradition, purpose, and partnership. After World War II devastated the original site, the company relocated to Halle, where the Belgian part still operate today.
1976
Rebuilding through Innovation
A major fire severely damaged the Halle facility, but it marked the beginning of a new era. With full modernization of its systems, production capacity increased significantly by the late 1970s.
1980
A New Generation of Leadership
The third generation — Tony, Ludo, and Paul Pissens — took the reins, driving rapid growth through investments in cutting-edge machinery and collaboration with the Escort Group. We began expanding our reach across Europe.
2003
Participation in Royal LC Packaging
In 2003 Pacapime took an important participation in the then Lammers & Van Cleeff, now Royal LC Packaging. In addition to its own activity of all kinds of packaging material for fruit and vegetables, this company also takes care of our domestic and foreign sales.
2009
A New Chapter Begins – Expansion into Hungary
We established a new production site in Mórahalom, Hungary, strategically located to serve markets in Hungary, Romania, and Serbia. This marked the beginning of our local presence, combining regional focus with the strength of a long-standing family tradition.

2012
Advancing with Technology
We installed a state of the art corrugator machine, enhancing both poduction quality and operational efficiency.
2015
Strenghtening Logistics
A 9,000 m² logistics and warehouse center was added to support greater storage capacity and faster, more reliable deliveries across the region.
2024 - A New Era
A generational transition marks the beginning of a new chapter. Lynn and Tom Pissens, members of the fourth generation, have taken over the leadership of the company. With deep respect for our heritage and a clear vision for the future, they continue our journey with a modern, customer-focused approach - delivering flexible, sustainable packaging solutions built for the world ahead.
