During production, small amounts of paint and glue can end up in wastewater. Without proper treatment, these residues could harm the environment.
At Pacapime, we take sustainability seriously.
In 2025, we took the big step: installing a brand-new water treatment system that handles up to 22 cubic meters of wastewater per day.

As production grows, so does responsibility. Our old setup wasn’t enough anymore, so we wanted a system that keeps up with rising demand, but also respects the environment, and reflects our values.
Installing the system wasn’t small, it required significant investment and months of planning.
And now we have it: installed between March and July 2025, it’s ready to support production while staying firmly on the green side.
This dual system is able to treat up to 7 m³/day of glue-contaminated water and 15 m³/day of paint-related wastewater. That’s 5,522 m³ of cleaner water every year. All treated to meet environmental standards, no shortcuts, no compromises. Smart, scalable, and sensor-backed, runs with combining manual and sensor monitoring, fully scalable for future output increases, easily complements our other sustainable projects, like our new solar system.
This upgrade works alongside our other green initiatives: water-based inks, solar energy, and recycled papers. Each step moves us closer to our goal; packaging that’s as good for the planet as it is for your products.
